Interesting!

Once or twice a week somebody tries to search A Person I Admire. Since I came here to San Diego, I've written on that topic last summer. It was an homework assignment, and I didn't want to make the same mistakes over and over again, so I posted it in here.

I guess a person I admire would be a different person for everybody, but I really wonder why so many people search this topic on the Internet. I'm very relaxed this morning, and it's been a while to get in here, and then I just saw who has visited here.

Sunday with a hangover
Yesterday I went to the Blockbuster to rent my friend's recommendation which are Naked and My Best Fiend, but they didn't carry them. I really want to see them, so maybe I buy them on Amazon.com. The store doesn't have Last Days either. Despite the USA, people have a tendency not to pay attention to the minority's interests too. I am also eager to watch 박쥐(Thirst) and The Limits of Control. I will go see The Limits of Control next week, but as for 박쥐(Thirst), maybe I have to wait until the DVD releases. That makes me very sad.

I drank too much last night. Two glasses of Chardonnay, a (big) glass of Kahlúa and cream, and a (big) glass of Tia Maria and cream. The recipe is very simple. Kahlúa or Tia Maria or whatever you want, Half & Half milk, and ice. Coffee liqueurs were yummy, but gave me a hard time. ^^

Union Square in San Francisco
I went to Union Square three times to transfer to another buses. It was much smaller than I had expected. After hanging out in Chinatown, we wanted to go to Fisherman's Wharf. I wanted to get on the cable car, but we already had bus tickets available until 11 am. I paid $2 when I first got on the bus which means I paid 50 cents more because I didn't know that the bus drivers never give change.

Chinatown in San Francisco
@ Sunnyvale caltrain station

C and I went to San Francisco by caltrain early in the morning. Day pass was $12, and it took us about one hour. After getting off the caltrain, we transferred to 30 bus. C told me, "Japantown is empty, and Chinatown is chaotic." I haven't been to Japantown, but I felt like I was really in China when I set foot in Chinatown. It was just Thursday morning, and a lot of Chinese people who spoke Cantonese were going shopping.

Do you think Chinatown and broadway go well?

I couldn't see any Chinese who speaks English except C in Chinatown. She speaks Mandarin, but successfully got some dim sum for breakfast. I like shrimp stuffed dim sum which is pretty.

There are a lot of lines like spider web in the sky because of Muni street cars and buses. The lines gave me a crowded image about San Francisco.

Serra Park in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara
After shopping tea and eating big lunch with C and her mother, we dropped by Korean market, and went to her house. I unpacked my stuff, and got some rest. I was stuffed so I wanted to take a walk. I asked C if there's a park in her neighborhood. She was like "There is a park just around the corner."
